Our younger daughter, Anna, played a part as an ugly sister in "Cinderella" recently. Part of her costume required a hoop petticoat. After the show I dutifully hand washed it and when it was dry, placed it flat on the sofa bed prior to returning it to the Theatre. The cat obviously thought it had been put there for his convenience.....
This morning we woke up to find Sarah's pet axolotyl had died after a long illness where he hadn't eaten for some months. Of course he chose to exit this world while she is away at drama camp - we have had to place him in a bag in the freezer so that she can give him a fitting funeral when she gets home. Vale Pablo - may you rest in peace.
