Sydney Daytrip album

I have now posted the Sydney day trip album. For those of you who don't know, Sydney city is a 2 hour train journey from our home. Ever since I was six, I can remember spending Christmas at my grandmother's flat located on the harbour at Cremourne Point. It was a treat to visit from Canberra - particularly as there were no flies....and there was the beach. I still love to visit the City, browse the bookshops and have lunch on Circular Quay. This year we seem to have had an influx of German tourists.... I'm interested to know why - if they are out here to for some warm weather, they will not be disappointed. The day we took these photos was a rare cool day....a southerly was blowing cooling everything down. Blessed respite from the 44ºC temperatures of New Years Day.

I'm surprised they let people climb up the bridge like that. It looks very dangerous.

Sydney BridgeClimb have been taking groups up the bridge for several years now and it is apparently very popular and very profitable!
