MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM NEWCASTLE AUSTRALIA

It's now Christmas day - 7.55am to be precise. The turkey is in the oven and I am just opening windows and putting down blinds in order to keep the sun out. It is going to be a hot one - forecast 33 degrees Celcius. Geoff went to Midnight Mass at the Cathedral which was full to overflowing. Interesting to think that we are such a secular society and yet Christmas still has the power to bring people back into the Church. More about Christmas in Oz later!
